MULLA
MOHAMMED SAYS GOODBYE
 20th
June 2008: This week, after 31 years of service to the community in
Dubai, our beloved Mulla Mohammed Rashid will depart for Birmingham
to start a new chapter in his life, and allow another community to
benefit from his immense knowledge, and popular appeal.
While we will
greatly miss his deep yet candid majalis and personality, we are
also proud that he grew up amongst us, and that we were fortunate to
learn from him for all these years.
Mulla Mohammed
Rashid was born in Tanga, Tanzania to Br. Haider and Sr. Fatemah
Rashid and migrated to Dubai in 1977.
He started
reciting majalis at the early age of 8, and later became a
researcher in the topics of Islamic History, specializing in the 14
Ma'sumeen, Ma'aad (Life after death), Human Psycology, Human
Development, Islamic Economic Systems, Laws of employment & business
as per the 14 Ma'sumeen, etc. He is currently researching the topic:
Human Relation in the religion of Ahlul Bayt (A)
By profession
Mulla Mohammed Rashid is an accountant, and has also been running a
business specializing in marketing in e-commerce and IT.
