We have sad news on the passing away of Marhuma Sayedah Khurshid d/o
of Syed Afzal Hussein Abidy, (of Mumbai) who passed away in Dubai
this morning and will be buried today.
The Marhuma was
the mother of Syed Mohamed Baqer, Syed Kumayl, Syed Malik-el-Ashtar
& mother-in-law of Syed Mohamed Shafi Naqvi. (All of Dubai)
Burial procedure
at Bahraini Mosque will be held today at 4:45 pm with Surae Yasin,
Namaaz Mayyit followed by burial at the Qabrastan.
Surae Fateha and
Namaaze Wahshat is requested for Marhuma Sayedah Khurshid Abidy.
May the Almighty
Allah (swt) grant the Marhuma rehmat, maghferat, a place amongst His
chosen ones and the family Sabre Jameel to bear this irreplaceable

We have sad news on the passing away of Marhuma Fatima, daughter of
Hussein Abdulrasul Jan Datoo wife of Mohamedraza Jaffer of Dubai,
who passed away in Dubai yesterday and will be buried today.
Burial procedure
at the Satwa Imambargah will be held today at 4:30pm with Surae
Yasin, Namaaz Mayyit followed by burial at the Qabrastan. F
ateha Khani will
be held for the Marhuma on Thursday 21 August, 2008 at 8pm at Satwa
Imambargah. Surae Fateha is requested for Marhuma Fatima Mohamedraza
Jaffer.

June 3rd 2008: In
the Name of Allah, the Infinitely Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
"Who say, when afflicted with calamity: 'To Allah We belong, and to
Him is our return.'" (2:156) Alladheena idha asabathum museebatun
qaloo inna lillahi wainna ilayhi rajioon. It is with heartfelt
condolences and content by Divine decree that we announce to the
Muslim ummah the sad passing of the honorable Ayatollah Sayed
Muhammad Ridha Al-Shirazi who passed away on Sunday, June 1st, 2008
in the holy city of Qum (Iran) at the young age of 48 and will be
buried today in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq. The dear departed
Sayed Muhammad Ridha Shirazi is the oldest son of the late Marjah of
the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Al-Shirazi. He was born in the
holy city of Karbala, Iraq and lived in exile in Kuwait and Iran for
over 30 years. The much-lamented Sayed Muhammad Ridha Shirazi is a
renowned Muslim jurist theologian scholar. His incredible in-depth
knowledge was passed onto hundreds of graduating Muslim scholars
around the world. Many Muslims greatly absorbed Islamic wisdom and
knowledge from his teachings. He was a humble valiant contributor of
Islam and Ahlul-Bayt. A light of source that shun across the hearts
and minds of all Muslims, the beloved Sayed Muhammad Ridha Shirazi
will greatly be missed. Surae Fateha and Namaze Wahshat is requested
for Marhum Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Ridha Al-Shirazi. May the
Almighty Allah (swt) elevate his ranking and grant the Marhum Rehmat,
Maghferat, a place amongst His chosen ones. We also pray for the
family and entire Umma for Sabre Jameel to bear this irreplaceable
loss - Ameen. On Thursday Night June 5 at Satwa Imambargah, the
Majlis will also be for the benefit of Marhum Ayatollah Sayed
Muhammad Ridha Al-Shirazi.

who passed away early this morning in Dubai. Namaaze Mayyit will be

the father of Br. Jabir, Br. Hasnain, Br. Askary, and Br. Murtaza,
