July 2, 2009: A Special General Meeting will be held in the Al Mahdi Room at Satwa Imambargah on Thursday July 9, 2009 after the regular program at approximately 10 pm with the following Agenda:
10:00 pm to 10:15 pm - Registration
10:15 pm - Presentation of current Power Outage problem at the Satwa Imambargah including DEWA permissions and Approval of expense involved in rectifying the problem.
11:00 pm - Close
This is a very important meeting and duly registered Jamaat Members are requested to attend on time and participate. Ladies are invited to attend.

9 years without Mulla Asgher

March 24, 2009: A time to reflect and look back at the days when we had Mulla at the helm and with his gaze our community was guided in all sorts of ways.
It’s hard to imagine his presence gone, It’s too clear and too vivid, but a Mulla Asghar we have none.
Some have come forward to fill in his shoes, but little is their resemblance in the face of truth.
Mulla was a guiding light, he had much with us to share.
If only we had listened to his words, today a lot more like him we could bear. But times have passed and now moved on

February 4, 2009: A group of 25 volunteers from Dubai Jamaat expressed a unified concern for the oppressed children of Gaza. On the 17th of January 2009, the youths participated in the Dubai Cares Gaza Aid Relief program.
